Gabion Stone baskets (boxes) are structures that shall be made of hexagonal galvanized/PVC/Al-Zn coated double-twisted mild steel wire mesh. We can supply the gabion mesh rolls, gabion box/basket, Gabion Reno mattress, sack gabion, Stone gabion cage, and gabion retaining wall in various lengths, widths, and heights as customer’s request.

GABION BOX (Greater than 1' in height) and gabion mattress (Less than 1' in height) consist of rectangular units. Filled with stones, gabions become large, flexible, and permeable elements from which a broad range of structures may be built. Gabions and mattresses are widely used for hydraulic and geotechnical control such as retaining walls, riverbank protections, weirs, channel linings, etc.

Gabion mattresses are divided into cells with diaphragms (usually spaced at 1 meter or 3’ intervals), whose function is to reinforce the structure. The mesh (except for the diaphragms) is reinforced on all edges with wires of a larger diameter to strengthen the gabions and facilitate the assembly and installation.

1. Feuerverzinkt, (Zinkbeschichtung: 40-60 g/m2);
2. Schwer feuerverzinkt, (Zinkbeschichtung: Min. 240 g/m2);
3. Galfan-Beschichtung (Zn – 5Al/10Al – MM-Beschichtung: Min. 245 g/m2);
4. Mit PVC-beschichteter Außenseite (der innere Draht kann auf Kundenwunsch aus galvanisch verzinktem Draht, feuerverzinktem, schwerem feuerverzinktem Draht oder Galfan-Draht bestehen.)

4) Technisch SStandard Anforderungen von Gabionens/Matratzen:
1. Alle Gabionenmaschen-/Draht-/Kastengrößenspezifikationen entsprechend ASTMA975.
2. Zinkbeschichteter Stahldraht gemäß ASTM_A641, Beschichtung der Klasse 3, weicher Härtegrad.
3. PVC (Polyvinylchlorid) beschichtet, zuerst feuerverzinkt.
4. Mit Zn-5Al/10Al-MM beschichteter Stahldraht gemäß ASTM 856/A 856M, Beschichtung der Klasse 3, weicher Härtegrad
5. PVC-Beschichtungsanforderungen gemäß ASTM-Standard und EN 10245-2-Standard.

Details zum Testen von Gabionenboxen

1) For easy handling and shipping, the gabions are supplied in bundles with folded flats. A stripe applied on the side of each folded gabion identifies the size or box quantity.
