We loaded the gabion boxes today,it is made of hexagonal galvanized/PVC/Al-Zn coated double-twisted mild steel wire mesh.

(1) Application of gabion box/gabion basket

it is widely used for hydraulic and geo- technical control such as retaining walls, riverbank protections, weirs, channel linings etc.
1. Control and guide of water or flood,
2. Flood bank or guiding bank,
3. Preventing of rock breaking
4. Water and soil protection
5. Bridge protection
6. Strengthening structure of soil
7. Protection engineering of seaside area

3) Surface Treatment of the gabion box/gabion basket
1. Galvanizat la cald, (Acoperire cu zinc: 40-60g/m2);
2. Galvanizat la cald greu, (Acoperire cu zinc: Min 240g/m2);
3. Galfan Coating, (Zn - 5Al/10Al - MM coating: Min 245g/m2);
4. With PVC Coated Outside, (The inner wire can be Electro Galvanized wire, Hot-dip galvanized, Heavy Hot-dip galvanized wire or Galfan wire as customer’s request.)

4) Technical Standard Requirements of gabion box/gabion basket
1. Toate specificațiile de dimensiuni de plasă/sârmă/cutie de gabion conform ASTMA975.
2. Zinc-Coated Steel Wire as per ASTM_A641, Class 3 Coating, soft temper.
3. Acoperit cu PVC (clorură de polivinil), galvanizat la cald mai întâi.
4. Zn-5Al/10Al-MM Coated Steel Wire as per ASTMA 856/A 856M, Class 3 coating, soft temper
5. PVC Coating requirements according to ASTM Standard and EN 10245-2 Standard.

( 5) gabion box/gabion basket（Packing & Delivery）

1) For easy handling and shipping, the gabion boxes are supplied in bundles with folded flat. A stripe applied on the side of each folded gabion identifies the size or box quantity.
